I’m an active member of the Westport community, coaching youth soccer, volunteering with local building projects, and donating both time and services to fundraisers.

I’ve been ordained as deacon and elder within the Christian Church, but I believe my true calling is to improve people's lives through architecture.

I received my Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1991. First licensed in 1994, I’m a registered architect in CT, NY, and MD. 

In 1997, I founded John Jones Architect LLC.

I enjoy sharing my experience and insights with local and national mastermind groups, and providing guidance to new architects starting out in the business.

I live in Westport with my 5 wonderful children, 2 Havanese dogs, and my beautiful wife. Family and friendship mean everything to me – I’ve even been asked six times to be “Best Man” – an honor that I think reflects my trustworthiness, reliability, and dedication to the finer details of a project.
